20090402 Sao Luis to French Guyana to Grenada
|
Leaving Brazil, finally. Two hours to check out, then two flights,
each three-ish hours, and we're at the La Luna in Grenada. A
lunch/fuel stop in French Guayana turned into a rain/fuel stop.
Just beacuse the ending was so spectacular, ALL the flying pictures are on the flying pages. OK, some of the better flying pictures are here too. |

| Virgin Atlantic 747-400 from Rochambeau to London. Not everday that one gets to walk in front of a 747. A beautiful and ugly plane. |

Sunset. La Luna, Grenada. We arrived at exactly sunset. I (and John) dropped all
our stuff as soon as possible (literally, in the middle of the walkway to the pool)
and ran down to the beach.
I won't take credit for this, since someone had already set the...thing....in the perfect position. |
| Canon EOS 40D with Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS at 73.0 mm; 1/4 sec, f/4.0, ISO 100 |
| Minutes after sunset, still in awe. I still haven't checked in to the hotel, and my bags (with $$$'s of camera crap) are still in the middle of the walkway. |
