Rain. All day.
In the afternoon, we took a van to the end of the runway, Vinapu, which contains a few well constructed Moai bases. Then (past the fuel depot nearly off the end of the runway) to the peak of Rano Kau. 1600m diameter, 200m deep? After dinner, a small show of 'authentic' Rapa Nui music and dance. I (and John) stayed around fiddling with pictures and blogging (resp.) by which time the sky cleared, and....NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHS! |
