Cartegena Day 1

Cartegena is a beautiful city. Such fun to wander around aimlessly and watch! Too bad I had a fever all night. I guess, on the bright side, I didn't mind so much that it was completely overcast, and mostly rainy all day. The fever broke sometime in the morning, and I wandered around in the afternoon. A terrible slice of pseudo-deep-dish hawiian pizza topped the day. Dinner was good.

Just a window. Looking at it after the fact, I could have composed a little better and included the grate in the lower left instead of the green stuff on the right. Then again, I remember being annoyed that someone put such an ugly grate in my picture (after all, its just an ugly gas meter!)

This was taken with a "standard" 24-100mm lens. Notice how the buildings are falling over?

This was takes with a 24mm "tilt-shift" lens. Compared to the last image, the buildings are no longer falling over.

Believe it or not, I saw this SAME GUY was sleeping last year too. While I was setting up the shot (last year) one of his buddies decided to wake him up, so I never got a picture.

Out of breath, I stopped in a park. While breathing, I saw the pools of light from these vendors lamps, and stole a picture. I don't think they ever noticed.
