CenAm 2008-01-13 -- BUBBLES!

My mission at this time was to run down to the beach and watch the sunset. Fortunately, I first ran into the family that owns the Bite on the Beach restaurant, hanging out at the end of a pier, blowing bubbles. Which I thought looked really cool. The family was pretty cool too. Thanks for putting up with a crazy guy with a camera invading your space!

This is the heartbreaker of the entire trip. When scaled down small (like here) it looks like a fantastic shot. A bubble, lots of color, and it shows the pier and people on it! I saw this in the camera preview and almost fainted! Got home, saw the full size picture and almost threw up. I don't remember if I had the camera on manual exposure (probably not); 1/15 sec, f/6.3, ISO 100. No shock it's blurry. Dear Canon: Please make a mode that will up the ISO to get the minimum shutter and aperture settings. Thanks.
