From an October 24, 1999 hike to TWA Canyon in the Cibola National Forest, Sandia
Mountains, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Bob (left) and Jeff (right). Bob is a Mathematician, Jeff is a, hmm, polymer chemist (?).

And now they realized that I was taking pictures....

If there is one thing that the Sandia Mountains have,
it's lots and lots of neat looking rocks.

Better, but not quite there.

These crazy fools are sitting on a rock that is over
a thirty foot drop. I'm as far to the other side as
I could get. In betweed us is a wonderful waterfall.

Better. I think we were playing with the camera.

This was probably the "turning point".

This too. See, the hike followed a well
defined path, up until a certain point,
at which you have to go through the brush.

The "correct" way to the crash site passed directly
below the Sandia Peak Tramway. This is the tram.

The haze is Albuquerque, NM.

Looking towards Albuquerque, from the start of the
crash site.

Supposedly, TWA or the Sandia Tram paid people to hike
up and move the wreckage to a spot where you can't
see it from the tram. This is it.

Faces. This is my favorite picture.
